About SRocket

A tool for Solid rocket motor design and simulation

Project Mission

SRocket Web is a web application created to provide rocket enthusiasts, students and researchers with a free, accessible tool for designing and analyzing solid rocket motors. Our mission is to make rocket motor simulation technology available to everyone, regardless of technical background or access to specialized software.

By providing this tool as a web application that works offline, we aim to enable innovation in rocketry while promoting safety through accurate simulation before physical testing.

Features & Capabilities

  • Propellant Definition

Define custom propellant properties including density, burn rate coefficients, and specific heat ratio.

  • Multiple Grain Geometries

Design motors with BATES, Finocyl, Star, or custom grain configurations.

  • Performance Analysis

Calculate thrust curves, chamber pressure, total impulse, specific impulse, and more.

  • Visualization

View interactive graphs and grain regression animations to understand motor behavior.

  • Save & Export

Save your designs locally and export results for documentation or further analysis.

  • Works Offline

Use the application without an internet connection once loaded.
